Kyle Olson is an archaeologist who studies the relationship between American foreign relations and the practice of American archaeology abroad. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and is a postdoctoral fellow at Koç University’s Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations in Istanbul, Turkey. He has been involved in activism and community organization since Occupy Wall Street in 2011.
